1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Cityicon. By registering an account or using the platform you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
The platform is intended for users aged 14 and above. At registration you must confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement. Providing false information regarding your age or identity is a breach of these terms.
3. Account Registration and Security
- You must provide accurate, current and complete information at registration and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- One person may hold one account. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.
- Notify us immediately at support@cityicon.in if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
- We may suspend or terminate any account that breaches these terms, with or without prior notice.
4. Use of the Platform
You agree that you will not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, another user's account, or the administrative panel;
- copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or resell quiz questions, answers, explanations or any other platform content;
- use automated tools, scripts or any other means to manipulate scores, timers, rankings or results;
- interfere with, disrupt or place unreasonable load on the platform or its infrastructure;
- upload or transmit unlawful, offensive, defamatory or infringing material;
- use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
5. Quizzes, Timers and Results
- Each quiz runs against a fixed time limit that is enforced on the server. When the limit expires the attempt is submitted automatically with the answers recorded up to that point.
- Answers are saved as they are selected. Interruptions to your internet connection do not stop the timer.
- Scores are calculated automatically according to the marks and negative-marking rules published on each quiz's details page.
- Results, rankings and statistics generated by the platform are final. We may correct or remove a result found to be affected by a technical error or by manipulation.
- Quiz content is provided for practice and general educational purposes. While we take reasonable care, we do not warrant that all content is free of error, and it should not be relied upon as authoritative for examination or professional purposes.
6. Membership and Payments
- Certain quizzes are marked Premium and require an active paid membership.
- Plan prices, durations and inclusions are displayed on the Membership page and may be changed at any time. Changes do not affect a membership already purchased and active.
- Membership activates once the payment gateway confirms the payment, and expires at the end of the stated duration.
- Renewing before expiry adds the new term to the remaining days of the current term.
- Membership is personal to your account and is not transferable.
- All fees are stated in Indian Rupees and are subject to applicable taxes.
- Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund / Cancellation Policy.
7. Content and Intellectual Property
All content on the platform — including quiz questions, options, explanations, text, design, layout, graphics and software — is owned by or licensed to Cityicon and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the content for your own practice. No other right is granted.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Access may be suspended for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons beyond our control including hosting, network or gateway failures.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cityicon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of data, loss of opportunity or examination outcomes, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. Our total aggregate liability in respect of any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the platform at any time and may request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access where these terms are breached. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as provided in the Refund / Cancellation Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may amend these terms from time to time. The amended version takes effect when published on this page. Your continued use of the platform after publication constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts having jurisdiction over the location stated in our contact details shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
